After experiencing 8 months with the Heat Pumps and analyzing our gas and electric consumption I have determined that heating with the Heat Pumps is less expensive than heating with Natural Gas.I will add our costs for both Hydro and Natural Gas at the end of this review.Reflecting on our Heat Pump installation 8 months ago by RedBlue Heating and A/C we are very happy with the result.With regard to the installation process last Summer. It was trouble free.Our salesman from Red/Blue was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and informative. His communication skills were excellent. He guided us through the purchase process with great patience and attention to detail. He designed a system with 2 smaller heat pumps which will be more energy efficient and quieter than one large heat pump.The five installers were polite, most pleasant, helpful and did excellent work. They did an amazing job in carrying out the installation process quickly and efficiently. I was extremely impressed with their precision, dexterity and attention to detail.The installers were extremely careful and a vacuum was used regularly during the installation.I have no hesitation in highly recommending RedBlue Heating and A/C to carry out Heat Pump installation work.Their quotes are extremely competitive.This is the first time that we have done business with this company. I have no relationship with them and I am not receiving compensation for this recommendation.Note that we now have our heat set at 23*C whereas prior to the heat pump installation it was set at 21*C as we did not want overload our 29 year old natural gas furnace.HydroFeb - Apr 23, 2019 - 750 kWh - $88Apr - Jun 20, 2019 - 496 kWh - $63Jun - Aug 21, 2019 - 583 kWh - $72Aug - Oct 22, 2019 - 675 kWh - $81Oct - Dec 19, 2019 - 672 kWh - $85Dec - Feb 20, 2020 - 974 kWh -$107Feb - Apr 21, 2020 - 821 kWh - $95Apr - Jun 20, 2020 - 670 kWh - $79Jun - Aug 21, 2020 - 661 kWh - $79Aug - Oct 22, 2020 - 700 kWh - $82Oct - Dec 22, 2020 - 878 kWh - $99Dec - Feb 19, 2021 - 1,033 kWh - $113Feb - Apr 21, 2021 - 895 kWh - $102Apr - Jun 20, 2021 - 759 kWh - $88Jun - Aug 21, 2021 - 702 kWh - $82Aug - Oct 21, 2021 - 719 kWh - $84Oct - Dec 20, 2021 - 886 kWh - $100Dec - Feb 18, 2022 - 1,070 kWh - $119Feb - Apr 21, 2022 - 931 kWh - $105Apr - Jun 20, 2022 - 853 kWh - $96Heat Pump InstalledJun - Aug 21, 2022 - 817 kWh - $93Aug - Oct 20, 2022 - 875 kWh - $99Oct - Dec 19, 2022 - 2,256 kWh - $277Dec - Feb 18, 2023 - 2,376 kWh - $295Natural GasJan 2019 - $162Feb 2019 - $151Mar 2019 - $123Apr 2019 - $86May 2019 - $67Jun 2019 - $30Jul 2019 - $35Aug 2019 - $25Sep 2019 - $38Oct 2019 - $90Nov 2019 - $113 - 9.9 GJDec 2019 - $104 - 12.5 GJJan 2020 - $176 - 16.1GJFeb 2020 - $139 -12.8GJMar 2020 - $130 -11.9GJApr 2020 - $109 - 9.5 GJMay 2020 - $68 - 5.5 GJJun 2020 - $47 - 3.5 GJJul 2020 - $32 - 1.8 GJAug 2020 - $28 - 1.4 GJSep 2020 - $33 - 1.8 GJOct 2020 - $81 - 5.9 GJNov 2020 -$157 -12.7 GJDec 2020 -$145 -11.6 GJJan 2021 - $180 - 14 GJFeb 2021 - $209 - 16 GJMar 2021 - $150 -11.3 GJApr 2021 - $124 - 8.9 GJMay 2021 - $76 - 5.1 GJJun 2021 - $61 - 3.7 GJJul 2021 - $36 - 1.8 GJAug 2021 - $24 - 0.7 GJSep 2021 - $52 - 3.0 GJOct 2021 - $109 - 7.1 GJNov 2021 -$183 -12.4 GJDec 2021 -$201 - 13.8GJJan 2022 - $281 -18.5GJFeb 2022 - $198 -12.5GJMar 2022 - $175 - 11 GJApr 2022 - $171 - 10.5GJMay 2022 - $129 - 7.7 GJJun 2022 - $72 - 3.8 GJHeat Pumps InstalledJul 2022 - $48 - 2.1 GJAug 2022 - $37 - 1.4 GJSep 2022 - $52 - 2.2 GJOct 2022 - $28 - 0.9 GJNov 2022 -$59 - 2.7 GJDec 2022 -$59 - 2.5 GJJan 2023 - $59 - 2.7 GJFeb 2023 - $70 - 3.4 GJMar 2023 - $53 - 2.5 GJ
